Salary:
Circa £15,000 per annum, depending on experience About the role: Due to the growing success of our business and the service charge division, we are looking to appoint a Service Charge Accounts Assistant to provide support to all members within the dedicated team of service charge experts. As one of the country's leading specialist firm of Chartered Accountants within this sector, our national portfolio features many of the UK's leading property management companies including some well-known household names. Responsibilities:
Working directly with our dedicated service charge teams in both Flitwick and Southampton Assisting the service charge team with accounts and administration support Creating key working relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with clients Developing sound commercial awareness along with key skills around communication, teamwork and technical ability Supporting on a portfolio of clients throughout the year; managing timetables/expectations, anticipating costs, raising fee invoices etc Preparation of service charge accounts (including those under FRS102, 1A and 105) Utilising and promoting the use of cloud technology within our client base including the conversion of existing clients Preparing client deliverables, building relationships with the client (including their staff) and acting as an ambassador for the business Initiate and work with other teams across the region (including other service lines) to the benefit of the client including referring opportunities where relevant and minimising risk (to both the business and the client) You will be expected to attend training to further develop and maintain your technical skills and if not yet attained to work towards a professional qualification About you: Minimum of 1 years' experience in a practice or service charge environment Either Degree / AAT qualified or working towards a professional qualification Must demonstrate gravitas and impact to earn trust and respect amongst management, the wider team and with clients Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to think analytically and a high level of attention to detail Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure Ability to demonstrate strong organisational skills; wise planning, time optimisation and prioritisation Drive and resilience to deliver high levels of customer service What is on offer: Circa £15,000 per annum, depending on experience Study support offered for a variety of training courses Rewards and incentives Flexible benefits - self-service benefits platform Quarterly functions and events Parking on-site Friendly and inclusive working environment Regular training and development
