Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for a General Ledger Clerk to join a UK & U.S wide business who have a site based in Leicestershire - Blaby. Working as part of a team, reporting to the Finance Manager, this General Ledger role will be a varied role and will require someone to have the skill sets below; Reconciliation of supplier statements Managing and collecting customer debts Checking and posting of customer receipts to the ERP accounting system Reviewing customer credit rankings and credit limits Providing administrative support to our UK stores / franchises Being first point of call for all relevant enquiries Reconciling company credit cards Reviewing systems and processes and recommending improvements where necessary To be considered for the role you will need to be looking for a long term role as this business is looking to develop someone consistently to be a valuable asset to the team. The Client is extremely friendly and supportive in all aspects of the role - the right candidate will be ethical and positive in nature. You will already have had exposure to purchase/sales ledger or general accounting duties. You will have a team focused attitude and have great attention to detail - the client looks forward to helping the successful candidate develop their accounting skills to provide them with excellent self and professional development. The role has a salary range of between £20,000 and £22,000 7% increase in salary each year.
