Accounts Assistant MRK Associates are exclusively representing a rapidly expanding leisure business in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire in the hire of an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This job would suit an experienced all-round Accounts Assistant with strong attention to detail who will be reporting to the Finance Manager and dealing with a high volume of accounts processing for month end. The individual will be responsible for a wide range of accounts tasks including the bank reconciliations, receipt and card transaction reconciliations and investigating any queries. They have further plans to develop their brand and existing portfolio with current locations receiving dramatic investments over the past 18 months and new investments increasing their turnover by 35%. The successful individual will have experience in a varied accounts role including purchase and general ledger, cashbook management and high level bank reconciliations exposure. It is essential the candidate can work effectively within a small team and has great communication and numeracy skills. The candidate must be flexible enough to take on tasks outside of their usual responsibilities and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Strong accounts packages knowledge and IT skills are vital.
