An ambitious and motivated Finance Manager is required for a rapidly growing PE Backed business, based in Oxford. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the planning, forecasting and reporting, along with identifying opportunities for margin improvement and process efficiencies within the wider business. Main duties: Managing and developing the finance teams across three divisions. Preparing budgets and forecasts for the three divisions. Ensuring the timely, accurate and smooth delivery of finance information. Leading the year end audits and liaising with external stakeholders. Providing the end of year financial statements in a timely and accurate manner Providing accurate forecasts as required Working with the school auditors to meet their requests and provide up to date and clear accounts. Making timely tutor and staff payments which differ from month to month, but not operating payroll. Be the lead in year end-audit and liaising with external stakeholders. Issuing, managing, tracking and administering sales invoices, payments, staff expenses, petty cash, and bank accounts, using SAGE Accounts Experience required: Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Proven ability in managing, coaching and developing a small finance team. Strong group reporting background Excellent analytical skills Strong communication and business partnering skills Self-motivated, ambitious, good at planning, problem-solving. Passionate about driving continuous improvement and adding value To work effectively, both as part of a team or working alone. Any previous experience of working within the education sector will be a huge advantage The ability to understand and use Sage 50 Accounts and Excel as well as possessing general IT skills This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, highly motivated and career-minded Finance Manager to join this organisation at an exciting time.
