A highly regarded manufacturing business based in Norwich is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their business as a Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. This is a fast paced, interesting role where no day is the same. The Commercial Finance Analyst role will be involved in developing strategies and pricing proposals, and implementing commercial direction, whilst challenging strategies and assumptions to ensure the best outcome for the business. The role will provide on-going support to various key divisions during negotiation processes and as such will require a high degree of Finance Business Partnering. Daily duties will include: Providing analysis, forecasting and reporting on the company performance Business partnering to sales teams Provide concept cost estimates and pricing proposals to evaluate the potential impact of new opportunities Production of reports and data to facilitate commercial decision making Support commercial teams in identifying ways of reducing costs and challenging existing processes where appropriate Verify and approve promotion proposals and ensure they are included correctly in business forecasts and accounts Work with the Commercial Finance teams and to update the commercial financial forecast for current year, based on current performance, changing market conditions and updated plans and initiatives. This role would suit a CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant with a desire and ability to have a real impact on the commercial decision making of the business. Previous exposure to working in a business partnering role would really help be successful in this position.
