Financial Analyst - ( 19001840 ) Description Responsible for reporting, forecasting and budgeting for Commscopes Global Services business, in the Network & Cloud segment. Complete month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and account analysis. Maintain and analyze contractor expense accrual balances as well as prepaid expense balances. Review purchase reqs submitted via the Oracle Cloud purchasing system to ensure accurate financial coding and confirmation as to whether expenditures are included in the forecast. Analyze monthly departmental spending vs. forecast/budget and provide reporting to key stakeholders. Prepare and analyze monthly headcount by business and provide reporting to key stakeholders. Assist with completion of quarterly Balance Sheet review presentation package. Assist with gathering support for quarterly and annual audit inquiries. Preparation of ad-hoc analysis as required. Qualifications B.S. in Finance or Accounting and 0-3 years of related experience. Strong working knowledge of MS Office (primarily excel). Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form. Ability to work effectively in a global organization engaging with colleagues across functions.
