Role Purpose This role will have broad impact across the NAM organization by supporting Total NAMs annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes, in-year financial forecasting and finance support of business decisions Dimensions a) Financial NSV $5.7b and OP $2.7b b) Complexity This role requires support and coordination of a big team, coordinating, influencing and aligning parties across each of the NAM business units. This role is also the key liaison with Group FP&A on a monthly basis. c) Leadership Responsibilities and Decision-Making Rights Reports to NAM Corporate FP&A Director Key business partner US Spirits FP&A, DBC FP&A, Canada FP&A, Supply FP&A, Group FP&A Accountabilities Manage key elements of financial planning, closing and reporting processes (Strategic Plan, AOP, Outlook, actuals and O&R) for the P&L Support the delivery of total North American plan by tracking and following up on risks and opportunities Gap identification and resolution in order to ensure delivery of strategic plan, AOP, Outlook Liaise with London Group FP&R teams to ensure compliance with planning & O&R reporting requirements Work closely with NAM accounting team to ensure ensure actual financials align with planning assumptions and forecasts align with accounting principles Lead and support the delivery of process simplification and standardization Continually drive for best practice and develop a culture for innovation Build and maintain value driving relationships across the organisation that support business performance and integrate reporting across all business functions. Develop an efficient and effective planning process for the organisation, ensuring all internal and external factors are considered in developing a robust plan Use analytics to go beyond the numbers, using a variety of data sets to drive insights. Qualifications / experience Experience in an global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment 5 years relevant experience MBA preferred Demonstrated strong leadership skills, in particular (i) relationship-building, (ii) ability to influence, and (iii) judgment Strong finance capabilities across many functions, including commercial finance, FP&A and accounting & controls ability to deal with ambiguity and drive multi-functional outcomes Strong strategic and analytical skills Financial Control & Accounting Regular
