Our Finance team is a key driver in working to transform the Singapore business towards a more competitive and operationally efficient organisation best suited to current and future business. About the opportunity Weve got a permanent full-time opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Singapore team. Reporting into the Commercial Finance and FP&A Director, this role will recognise you as the senior Finance go to contact in the region. This is a broad role that will challenge you to play a key role in supporting our growth in the region. Your day to day accountabilities include - Coaching, mentoring and direct leadership of a Finance team member based in Malaysia; - Ensuring and driving strong financial control in the region; - Delivering high quality budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting and associated finance activities; - Supporting and partnering with the business to deliver excellent operational performance; - Holding the business and budget owners accountable for spend; - Driving insight into commercial opportunities, tenders and pricing decisions; - Providing broad finance support to the Managing Director and other members of the GVR leadership team. Qualifications What you will need - Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent; - Contemporary leadership experience; - Minimum of 5 years similar experience in complex commercial businesses; - Recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred; - Strong practical experience & knowledge across financial control, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis; - Demonstrated success in strategic and executive level business partnering; - Intermediate Excel experience coupled with good use of MS Office applications.
