An award winning highly ranked law firm with offices across the South East of England currently have a vacancy for a Risk & Compliance Manager to be based at their Guildford office. Our client advises a range of clients across a wide range of practice areas on behalf of individuals and business across the United Kingdom. The role of Risk & Compliance Manager is a newly created position within the firm reporting directly to the Senior Partner and the wider compliance function. As a Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing this multi office firms risk and compliance on a day to day basis. The role would comprise of dealing with practicing certificate renewals, complaints and claims management, assisting staff with conduct questions such as conflicts, reviewing and monitoring the firms policies and procedures, as well as the performance of the day to tasks delegated by the COLP, COFA, DPO and MLRO. As the manager of the firm, you will also be responsible for general compliance awareness, creating and delivery of bespoke compliance training as well. To be considered for this, our client is requiring an individual that has worked at a Law firm within a compliance role who possess up to date knowledge of risk and compliance requirements within a legal environment.
