Lusona has an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Accountant to join our client in Glasgow city centre for a fixed term contract. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Commercial Accountant will focus on business analysis and insight delivering efficient strategic business planning, and budgeting & forecasting activities to assist leadership team and provide high-quality insight analysis to assist with key business decisions. The successful candidate will be able to turn data into information Interesting to non-finance managers and duties will include: Leading project forecast activity and producing financial reports for a number of significant projects Preparing management information for both strategic and operational purposes including strategic financial planning, financial governance and budget monitoring Monitoring and developing financial processes to ensure the business finances are well controlled Providing expert professional advice and guidance to staff across the business The successful candidate will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with excellent Ms Excel skills , have previously worked as a finance business partner/Commercial accountant role and ideally come from a large company background.
