Deputy Payroll Manager
Portfolio Payroll are pleased to be working with a leading retail organisation in Yorkshire. They are recruiting for a temporary Deputy Payroll Manager to join their team for a period of six months. Areas of focus: Ensure all payroll processes and reporting are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Work to set deadlines, KPIs and SLAs, ensuring any escalations are raised timely. Work with Service Delivery Manager to review processes and any improvements on a regular basis to support cost efficiencies Calculate payments of HMRC for our main payrolls weekly, mid-month, expenses, fees and end of month Desirable skills and attributes: An awareness of continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to work to targets and deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy. IT skills in MS and Google applications Good knowledge of payroll end to end processes including Real Time Information, P11D and PSA A current understanding of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SAP and SPP and SHP GDPR awareness Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced pressurized environment,. Ability to work in a team and independently. Experience in using PeopleSoft v9.0 and/or Oracle Cloud HCM systems is advantageous(phone number removed)SWN INDPAYN
