As the Financial Accountant, you will be reporting into the Finance Director and will be responsible for monthly journals, fixed assets and VAT. Key

responsibilities:
- Monthly preparation of journals around the areas of fixed assets, accruals, payroll and other areas of responsibility - VAT and Intrastat preparation and reporting for UK and foreign entities - Monthly reporting and analysis - Regular liason with the corporate finance team and internal / external customers - Identify and implement improvement opportunities - Provision of monthly inputs to the management accounts pack - Liasing with external suppliers to ensure that foreign entity reporting is accurate and timely - Monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Responsibilities for providing information for internal and external company audits You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), with previous experience of working in a financial accounting environment in industry. The role would also suit a newly qualified ACA from practice who is looking to take their first step into industry. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external customers, with the ability to build rapport across the business.
