We're constantly learning and developing through the collaboration and communication between our people and our network of experts.The mission of the Global Mobility team is to manage international moves globally, which includes project managing the successful movement of assignees and their families. The team also acts as the central point of contact throughout the whole assignment process, providing support and guidance to assignees and their families, home and host management and HR.In your role as Global Mobility Partner you will be expected to manage the full range of assignment cases and will also take responsibility for a particular region or technical area as a subject matter expert, manage a global vendor or coach and manage other team members.In this busy and exciting role, you will provide input to the development of the AstraZeneca International Mobility strategy and policy you will be responsible for the implementation at the business area level. You will advise on the reward strategy for internationally moves accounting for relevant compensation, benefits and tax considerations.Responsibilities include:Ability to understand, simplify and guide on complex tax issues arising from an international assignment or relocationProvide specialist mobility advice and reviews cost projections to aid decision-makingProject manage key elements of the assignment move and co-ordinates with managers, HR (business partners and skill centres), assignee and their family, including:o assessing immigration requirementso preparing the assignment project plano leading the kick off meeting with home/host managers and HRo preparing assignment offero briefing of assignee and partnero instructing destination service providerso establishing education requirements and determining level of supporto exploring/resolving dual career issues and partner support to be offeredo arranging cultural briefingso establishing security and language training needsAgree assignment terms and conditions in accordance with policy and contractual documentation of the terms, including:o assignment compensation terms and benefitso social security and pension arrangementso tax treatmento instruction of salary delivery and payment of allowanceAnalyse and reviews any special circumstances and determines how they might be handledCarry out assignment salary review, calculating the new net assignment salary and allowances and annual bonus, includes instruction of payments via payroll.Maintain contact with assignee and family and assists with any assignment related issues during the assignment.Provide/project manage repatriation support to assignee and family in line with beginning of assignment support, including:o repatriation plan preparationo assignee/partner repatriation briefingo instructing Global Mobility Admin/destination service providero establishing education requirements/supporto exploring/resolving dual career issues and partner support to be offeredo end of assignment payroll instructionso assignment debriefsAdvise and assist with extension, localisation or termination arrangements as appropriate.Undertake peer review and authorisation of key assignment documentation.Contribute to process improvement reviews.Will be expected to lead project work periodicallyEssential Requirements:ATT / CTA qualifiedExperience of project management in a customer facing roleExperience of living and working abroad would be an advantageBuilds credibility and maintains strong global relationshipsCalm, logical and systematic approach to dealing with complex issues and situationsConfidence and maturity in handling sensitive situations in appropriate mannerGood project management skills with concern for impact and attention to detail and an ability to prioritise the conflicting demands of a high workloadActs with integrity and concern for standardsExcellent analytical thinking and numeracy skillsTeam player, able to contribute to the motivation and development of othersEffective and confident communicatorAdaptable, with a flexible approach to new conceptsBig 4 consulting experience would be highly advantageousDate Posted07-Oct-2019Closing Date20-Oct-2019AstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
