Company Accountant £38,000 - £42,000 per annum Luton, Bedfordshire Permanent, full-time A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join an established business. Reporting to the Managing Director this is a hands-on role that requires an adaptable approach. Your duties will range from maintaining ledgers and credit control through to producing management accounts. You will demonstrate strong all-round accounting acumen in order to make a smooth transition into the role. This role requires a confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with all areas of the business. Key duties will include: Processing purchase invoices, expenses and supplier payments Credit control Bank reconciliations including foreign currency transactions Accruals & prepayments Fixed asset maintenance Sales reports Cash flows Management accounts, reporting actual versus budget Liaising with Auditors and HMRC This role would suit a seasoned accounting professional who enjoys the variety of carrying out a hands-on role. You will ensure that strong financial controls are in place and the integrity of management information.
