Position DescriptionUndertake credit control activities, in accordance with the defined processes, to ensure prompt premium payment and to achieve agreed KPIsHandling of internal and external customer queries in an efficient, practical and professional mannerBuild effective relationships with both internal & external customersAllocation of payments to policy entriesEscalation to Credit Controller Team LeaderAct in accordance with assigned authority levelsProvide reporting to Credit Controller Team Leader as requiredPerform specialized tasks required to support operations and producing financial reportsSkills & ExperienceSkills: - An understanding of insurance business and credit management processes - Good understanding of credit management an advantage - Good understanding of the business and how this relates to credit management - Up to date knowledge and understanding of all relevant Compliance and Regulatory rules and procedures - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other office applications - Able to manage workload and priorities, adapting to changing needs and priorities - Good negotiation skills - Good communication skillsQualification / Experience - GCSE or equivalent (including Maths and English at Grade C or above) - Accounting or Credit Management qualification to certificate level preferred, or a desire to study towards this qualification would be desirable - Experience of working in Finance/credit management or a customer facing role would be desirableAdditional RequirementsAt Allianz we believe that the difference in our people makes the difference to our business.
