Finance Analyst, Part qualified North London £30000-38000 plus study support and benefits package. An exciting development opportunity for a part-qualified accountant/analyst, ideally with experience of long term contracts (construction, facilities, infrastructure, PFI contracts or similar sector). You will have ownership of a number of exciting projects and PFI contracts around the north London / east or England region. You'll: Act as a Business Partner to the operations teams providing financial support, guidance and commercial challenge across the projects Develop detailed knowledge of contract financials and represent the finance function in the monthly forecast and reporting reviews Provide decision-driving analysis to leverage opportunities and mitigate risk Have responsibility for driving standardisation across finance processes within the region Ensure costing and system reconciliations are accurate to facilitate timely client billing Have responsibility for contract balance sheet reconciliations including standard costing, payroll control, WIP, VAT and Stock valuation Manage the month-end and year-end processes for contracts We're looking for: A part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience with sector relevant Strong commercial acumen The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation The ability to deliver results in a complex environment Demonstrable experience of business/process improvement Excellent Microsoft Excel and IT skills
