You will support the Financial Planning Team in achieving objectives in winning new clients and providing an outstanding service to clients. You will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of workflow from a client facing perspective and provide technical assistance to the planner. The Position
• To provide technical assistance to the financial planners in order to ensure client objectives are met via a holistic financial plan.
• To complete client scoping reports setting out the client's current position and options for meeting their objectives.
• Assist the financial planner at client meetings to ensure that client objectives and circumstances are fully understood.
• Work directly with Partners in the business with their High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.
• Use Voyant to create visual financial plans for clients.
• Draft letters and emails dealing with client enquiries.
• To be responsible for setting up new prospects and new opportunities on our CRM system. Ensuring the information is accurate and input in a timely manner.
• To ensure that you record and maintain information on Intelligent Office in order to allow work to be logged, tracked and internal records/management information to be kept up-to-date.
• To ensure that you file and/or store records and files in accordance with internal standards so they can be accessed and/or retrieved in an efficient manner.
• To follow the firm's processes by entering adequate notes of your activities are entered in the firms back office system and to provide clear and full instructions when passing tasks to other personnel/teams.
• To arrange client meetings, prepare agendas and complete the meeting work including technical and product research as required together with fund performance data.
• Preparation and issue of engagement documentation
• Gather information from third party providers and internal resources.
• To ensure that the CPD requirements, as defined in the Training and Development handbook and required by the CII are maintained and logged as appropriate.
• To draft financial planning reports in order to meet and/or exceed agreed activity targets. Person Specification
• Financial Services industry experience
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong IT skills
• Able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
• Able to work within defined business processes
• Adaptable to changing demands and priorities.
• Seeks opportunities to develop own skills.
• Demonstrates commitment to own development.
• Diploma qualified.
