With that they are now looking for a French speaking assistant accountant to join their well established team on a permanent basis. With the international exposure this role will gain we genuinely believe this to be a strong option for someone part way through their professional studies who is looking for career progression. Daily tasks will most likely include: Month end journal preparation for European entities Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations Assisting with the monthly reporting and cash-flow analysis Liaising with key stakeholders and advising on cash position of French entity Fixed asset maintenance Management and control of accruals and pre-payments Aiding the Finance Manager with statutory reporting Inter-company reconciliations Some accounts receivable and credit control Cover for accounts payable and expense management Ad-hoc finance tasks as required If you are studying towards your CIMA or ACCA and are a fluent French speaker then this could be a great platform on which to progress your career over the next 3-5 years at least.
