Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst to analyse information relating to projects that have been carried out by client companies Analysing costs that have been incurred through these projects, creating reports following on from your analysis and giving recommendations to clients regarding tax benefits they may be entitled to Additionally, responsible for ensuring that follow-on queries and processes surrounding the costs and submission to create a smooth finance related process for the client. This role would a recent finance graduate with exceptional numeracy, analysis and report writing abilities but also has an outgoing "people" personality and is looking for a role that not only utilises their technical skills but also enables them to capitalise on their personality in a client facing role. This position that will offer exceptional career progression and the opportunity to undertake further professional training qualifications if desired. The role would also be ideal for someone with AAT or ATT qualifications who is working within a firm of Chartered Accountants who is looking for a position that will capitalise on their exceptional numeracy abilities but allow them to work in a more challenging and interesting role beyond audit etc Responsibilities and Requirements for the position of Financial Analyst: Full training is given with regards to HMRC legislation where required Completing cost summaries and tax return submissions/amendments following company processes, due diligence and checks to maximise client benefit Able to communicate and instruct, effectively and accurately with the client and internal and external stakeholders Responsible for identifying any amendments required to ensure high levels of due diligence within the process Plans and organises tasks and workload effectively, taking a structured and methodical approach to achieving outcomes Be able to communicate any department or individual issues to minimise risk Communicates regularly with client regarding their case Strong computer and IT skills to include data processing, typing and internet research abilities with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Able to work towards agreed daily, weekly and monthly individual/ team targets to meet the annual Company revenue target Working with credit control and finance to establish accurate and timely processing of client billing, as well as communicating the basis of this to clients in an effective manner Ideal candidate for the role of Financial Analyst: Able to think outside the box in an innovative and creative manner in an honest and ethical manner Able to analyse complex financial information and create reports from this information Exceptional written and verbal communicator Asks for and acts on feedback, is keen to learn; proactively responding to feedback, learning from experience and developing own professional skills and knowledge. Remains calm and professional under pressure Self-motivated with a positive attitude Gathers, verifies and assesses all appropriate and available information to gain an accurate understanding of the client's business and projects Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot discrepancies with information provided Is approachable, developing positive working relationships.
