Are you a small firm Accounts & Tax Semi Senior looking to work in a role where 60% of your time will be spent on Ltd Companies and 40% Sole Traders? Do you have at least 2 to 3 years experience working in a good quality accountancy firm and are currently looking to join a small yet growing and entrepreneurial practice in the South East part of Central London where you will work in a role mixed between Ltd Companies and Sole Traders? Your role will be varied and 60% of your time will be spent on Ltd Companies (preparing statutory accounts, VAT returns and Corporation Tax returns) and 40% of your time will be spent on sole traders (including personal tax returns and sole trader accounts). Clients will all be London based and from a wide range of sectors, generally up to about £2m turnover. Rapid progression is expected for the right candidate. The firm offers study support for AAT / ACCA exams (although these must be completed in your own time). To be considered for this newly created role you must be a semi senior accountant, probably studying AAT or ACCA but qualified by experience candidates will also be considered. You must have at least 2 to 3 years experience, including preparing accounts and tax returns for both Ltd Companies and Sole Traders. You must have experience of a wide range of software packages (Xero and Quickbooks would be an advantage), be a team player, and be able to work to tight deadlines. Good communication skills is also very important. This growing accountancy firm based in the Southern part of Zone 1 with around 15 staff has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles.
