We're currently supporting a well-known and highly regarded international NGO in the search for a Finance Business Partner and Trainer to business partner with the Emergencies Department in a permanent role. This is a truly unique and exciting opportunity for a personable accountant with experience in leading finance training to use their skills and experience in a rewarding role that will directly contribute to the success of organisation's ability to respond to emergencies overseas. The role will also involve up to 12 weeks travel of the year across UK and Overseas. Your role will involve: Leading on planning and budgeting for the international emergency response teams Monitoring budgets and providing monthly commentary and analysis Supporting and reviewing grant and restricted funding applications, producing reports and providing ongoing support through the projects Providing financial management during and in the aftermath of large and complex emergency Designing, developing and delivering training to UK and overseas finance and non-finance staff The ideal candidate for this role will: Be a finalist or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant stakeholder management experience Have strong interpersonal skills Have a passion for the charity sector and knowledge of grant accounting Have experience leading on training for non-finance individuals If you are a finance professional matching the above criteria and have witnessed the humanitarian response to natural disasters, famine, conflict and disease and wished you could do something to help, please apply now
