The Role We are seeking a Group Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO, to join our growing Finance team in Lisburn. This is a business-critical role, spearheading the delivery of a first-class service to our international group. Key responsibilities will include: Lead on production of monthly MI pack to strict deadlines including full consolidated Group P&L, BS, cashflow and covenant performance with associated commentary; Overseeing UK management Accounts; Leading the finance integration of a newly acquired company and for future acquisitions; Cashflow forecasting and cash management; Management of all quarterly interest payments to senior lenders First line payment approval on all payments; Drive working capital improvements; Liaison with tax advisors in multiple jurisdictions regarding a wide array of tax matters Development of and lead on annual budgets, half yearly reforecasts and 3-year plan Internal Controls review; Statutory Accounts and Audit key lead Ad-hoc project work for board Ongoing staff support and development; Identification and development of process improvements within the Finance function. Candidates must be pro-active, diligent, hard-working and possess the following skills and experience; Essential Chartered Accountant with significant experience of working at FC level in highly complex and rapid growth environments; Demonstrable experience of working within an international environment; Technically strong with a clear understanding of all current accounting standards; Significant acquisition experience; Advanced Excel skills; Significant team management and development experience/capabilities; Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines; Demonstrable experience of identifying and driving process improvements; Excellent communication skills and proficiency across the Microsoft office suite; Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy Desirable Experience of operating within a Private Equity backed organisation is highly desirable; Experience of reporting to Board Trained in a Big-4 environment Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
