We are excited to be recruiting for the role of Regulatory Reporting & Tax Analyst to join our Finance team on either a (full or part-time; minimum of 4 days a week). Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting & Tax Manager, this role is responsible for preparing & submitting regulatory reports to various regulatory authorities and assisting in delivering the Direct and Indirect Tax requirements of the business. Key responsibilities include: Regulatory Reporting: Responsible for the timely & accurate completion & submission of all monthly/quarterly regulatory returns, following review by the Regulatory Reporting & Tax Manager; Responsible for monthly and quarterly reconciliation of returns to subsystems; Assist the CFO and Regulatory Reporting & Tax Manager with the implementation of new Regulatory software; Responsible for testing of system upgrades to reflect changes to regulations and reporting templates; Assist in the development of solutions for new reporting requirements as they arise; Liaise with the wider business to ensure regulatory data inputs are understood; Support in ensuring controls and processes for ensuring day-to-day integrity of the regulatory reports data points are documented, performed and effective; Use knowledge of regulatory developments to amend policy and guidance to Finance team and co-workers across the business Support regulatory reporting projects; Direct and Indirect Tax: Responsible for the timely and accurate completion and submission of UK Corporation Tax payments and returns, following review by the Regulatory Reporting & Tax Manager; Responsible for overseeing the Short-Term Business Visitors process and collation of data for submission to HMRC, following review by the Regulatory Reporting & Tax Manager. Ensure business wide compliance with processes; Manage the Automatic Exchange of Information (FATCA and CRS) annual reporting submission, ensuring timely completion and business wide compliance with processes; Responsible for maintaining Triodos' internal records in line with HMRC's PAYE records, performing reconciliations when required and escalating issues as appropriate; Responsible for making sure payments to HMRC PAYE are made in a timely manner; Scan the horizon for potential changes to tax legislation or interpretation that could impact Triodos and generally keep own tax knowledge up to date by subscribing to HMRC and tax expert guidance and notifications on upcoming changes and share the key updates within Finance and across the business Review the Expense and Credit Card policies to ensure compliance with HMRC requirements; Responsible for preparing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns in accordance with VAT Partial Exemption rules, including reviewing business transactions to identify issues. Escalate as appropriate; Responsible for preparing EC Sales Lists returns; Responsible for preparing annual P11D and PSA returns and initiating process improvements regarding the accuracy and collection of relevant information from the business; Develop tax guidance to be used to support the team and wider business; Provide training to relevant departments to ensure correct application of tax rules, reducing the risk of non-compliance; Take a leading role in tax reporting projects e.g. Making Tax Digital and Automatic Exchange of Information automation; Other

responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining, updating and communicating process notes for own area of responsibility; Maintain awareness of business or regulatory changes which might affect reporting requirements for areas of own responsibility; Uses financial and business knowledge to challenge and suggest improvements to practices and procedures; Contribute to internal audit reviews as necessary and deliver on actions responsible for Successful candidates will have experience of working in a banking or financial services environment. It is essential to have or be working towards an appropriate accounting qualification e.g. AAT with tax options or part qualified CIMA/ACCA. Experience of preparing indirect tax returns e.g. VAT, PSA, is essential. Experience in the production of COREP, FINREP and Pillar 3 reporting is desirable.
