Our client is a well-established and highly regarded £800m t/o top 3 Global Leader, currently enjoying unprecedented growth in its field of expertise. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, this is a highest level Business Partnering role supporting the Managing Director and the Senior Management team across New Business Development & Operations, working in a business facing, highly visible commercial role with the remit of identifying business sales, margin and customer growth opportunities, supporting key strategic business decisions and working to achieve optimum business performance. Operating as part of the wider finance team and will working closely with internal and external stakeholders you will provide financial, analytical and business support and challenge with responsibilities including: Providing insight into emerging trends and the associated impact on P&L and cash flow Providing robust challenge to the Management Team on current business performance Providing market insight and updates on potential impact on group activities Utilising key management information and systems to evaluate business units against benchmark business units to drive improved performance and also develop business strategies Completing budget and forecasts for agreed areas of the business in partnership with appropriate key stakeholders Identifying and investigating variances, supporting the business in undertaking corrective action and challenge areas of underperformance Focus on costs and value for money Providing commercial and analytical support for projects, process changes and investment appraisals including post-investment review Analysis of investment opportunities and provision of accounting data for various projects and supporting throughout the acquisition process and transition into business as usual Ad hoc management information production for use by the business Applicants will be fully Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACCA with 5 year's post qualification financial analysis and management experience gained within a large business facing corporate environment. You will have a broad commercial acumen and the gravitas and personality to Business Partner with Senior Management, comfortable with proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change. You will be familiar with working to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail and will have experience in performing root cause analysis, developing & implementing process improvements and robust controls. You will have excellent analytical skills, advanced knowledge MS Excel and SAP experience would be advantageous.
