Based in London, our client is a Cyber Security and Analytics Consulting company. Our client is a values based organisation with a great culture, and has an impressive blue chip client base including multiple household name brands. Our client is growing fast and is looking for a full-time Finance Manager. This is a temporary to permanent role so you will have the opportunity to ensure the role is right for you and our client. The role will start as soon as practical to enable a handover from the incumbent. You will be: a qualified or near-qualified accountant with solid SME accounting experience a good people manager experienced in a service industry You will have good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills. Attention to detail, self-motivation, customer focus and use of initiative will also be key. Good Excel and Word skills will be a pre-requisite. Experience of Xero will be an advantage. The role currently supervises one Finance Assistant. The role will be responsible for: Preparation of budgets and sales forecasts and variance analysis of actual performance against these; Preparation of monthly management accounts and month-end closure process, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, timesheet and expenses management; Accounts payable and receivable management and monthly payroll information preparation; Bank reconciliations, management of foreign currency accounts, VAT, invoice financing management; Preparation of year-end accounts for external accountants and annual financial presentation to Board members; Administration of Company Pension and Private Insurance schemes; Preparation and submission of reports to HMRC; Management of Finance Assistant who undertakes office administration duties; Supporting the Customer Success Management and the Sales Teams.
