Easingwold, North Yorkshire Competitive salary plus 6% matched pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays About the role We are currently recruiting a Reporting Analyst to support decision making through the provision of reports, metrics and analysis to leadership teams at various contracts within our Defence Business Unit. A key focus of this role is to implement standardised revenue reporting for all retail business within the Defence Business Unit to ensure a high degree of forecast accuracy, and consistency of content, is achieved. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing reports and developing new reports in order to provide the best available information to decision makers with the objective of delivering the strategic objectives of the business unit - to win good business and improve shareholder value. As the role will support a portfolio of businesses/contracts the holder will be based at the site of one the main businesses, reporting into the Finance Business Partner - Resilience and have strong relationships with the relevant Contract Directors and Budget Holders within their portfolio. Finally, there will be regular travel within the UK as part of this role. About you Advanced Excel skills including formulas, VBA/DAX, and database creation/management. Interpretation of data from multiple sources and ability to effectively communicate and present information to a variety of audiences. Experience in using Data Visualisation tools such as Power BI , Tableau, Qlik and MS Access. Ability to work closely with the business to understand requirements and create solutions. Logical, structured approach (e.g. to prioritising work, problem analysis and resolution) Proactively suggest ideas and innovations to improve or replace reporting tools. Able to implement and maintain MI reports driving operational excellence and sales efficiency. Experience of working in a commercially orientated bidding and contracting environment. Ability to provide open, honest and transparent insight to solve business challenges. Evidence of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrates diligence, integrity and personal gravitas.
