Group Financial Controller | Leading Food Business | North London Harmonic are working on behalf of a leading food businesses who are investing heavily in restructuring their Finance function. The business currently have a turnover of circa £270 million and are seeking build out the finance team as the business continues to scale. They are well known for their non-corporate, down to earth culture which supports people both from a career and personal perspective. This is an opportunity to join a progressive company and work closely with an impressive Finance Director. The Role The Financial Controller is responsible for supporting the FD and business partnering with stakeholders across the business. Oversee the Day-to- Day Finance function (establishing robust processes) Management of P&Ls and cash flow Management of the monthly-close process Management of VAT returns and Balance Sheet Reconciliations Management of the AP/AR function Responsible for a team of 8 Statutory reporting and liaison with external auditors Support ad-hoc strategic projects Support the Finance Director Provide financial modelling and forecasting Provide Decision Support and Business Partnering across the business What you need (essential) Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) IFRS experience Excellent communication skills Additional Skills (bonus) FMCG or food/beverage experience
