Job Description:Director role in the European Mortgages Origination team which is part of Global Mortgages and is a product within Global Banking & Markets. The European Mortgages Origination team within Global Mortgages is focused on (i) originating and structuring agency securitisations backed by a range of asset classes including residential mortgages and consumer assets, and (ii) providing senior secured financing backed by similar assetsGlobal Mortgages is a market leading securitised product platform across ABS and RMBSThe origination desk is complemented by the EMEA mortgages analytics, sales and trading platforms Role DescriptionSenior client coverage specialist, directly responsible for covering clients and originating / structuring ABS/RMBS and secured lending transactionsPosition provides comprehensive exposure to all aspects of structured finance originationDuties include all aspects of client coverage and transaction execution for term ABS / RMBS and secured lending transactions, for example:Client market / pricing updatesAnalysis across asset classesPreparing client pitch booksPreparing marketing materialsCash flow modellingInteraction with legal, rating agencies, accountants, investors, conducting due diligence, credit, market risk, enterprise creditQualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experienceLanguage skills: ideally to include English / Spanish / FrenchSkilksCurrent direct structuring experience across a broad range of RMBS / ABS asset classes (e.g., fleet leasing, rental, equipment leasing, credit cards, consumer loans, dealer floorplan, autos)Experience in structuring all aspects of secured lending transactions and RMBS/ABS transactionsTechnical skills: comprehensive understanding of finance / capital markets / credit / reviewing legal docsShows initiative / energetic / enthusiastic roll up your sleeves type personalityGood working knowledge of Excel / PPointExcellent at managing timeframes with strong organisational skillsCompetencies & Behaviours required: Ability to multi-task, communicate clearly, collaborate across products.
