Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a leading international law firm and assist them in their search for a Financial Accountant and the main purpose of the role is to provide financial and management information to the firm as part of the finance team. The role encompasses a wide range of financial analysis and compliance work with key responsibilities including assisting in the preparation of the monthly finance report for Board. You will also produce and analyse profitability reports for Partners on an ad hoc basis and support the year-end Partnership accounts and audit process whilst also being involved in preparing annual subsidiary company accounts. This role also involves preparing monthly figures for the Brussels office and partnering with managers across the firm and assisting with the budget process. Applicants should be qualified Accountants with experience of working in a Professional Services environment ideally within a law firm. You must have the ability to build strong business relationships with internal clients and the resilience to deal with demanding individuals and must therefore be a confident, proactive individual prepared to take a hands-on approach to managing your workload. Working knowledge of data management tool with the ability to analyse and manipulate data would be beneficial and you must have excellent Excel skills.
