Northamptonshire SUMMARY Our Client, an established manufacturing company based in Northamptonshire, are seeking to recruit a FP&A Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis. Working within the Finance function of the business, the role plays a pivotal part in delivering and maintaining accurate financial reporting to aid understanding and decision making across the Group. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting & Forecasting Delivery of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules for the P&L, ensuring the integrity of data, Supporting the FP&A Manager in delivering monthly, quarterly & budget forecasts, Ownership for delivery of key SG&A cost centers. Working with key Stakeholders to deliver accurate cost reporting across the finance department and broader business, Provide support in the coordination, processing and delivery of the monthly KPI reporting packs, Lead innovation in developing the FP&A toolkit. Analysis Provide analysis to enhance the businesses understanding of cost performance of general overheads (SG&A), Providing analysis to deliver insightful month-end commentary. Understand variances to forecasts and challenge P&L owners as appropriate, Scrutinise and challenge the month-end accounts and forecasts to maintain the integrity of financial reporting. Key Stakeholders The role will require interaction with the FP&A Manager, UK Finance Teams (Commercial, Operations and Financial Control) and SG&A partners (Finance, HR, IT & Legal, Marketing & Sales). Reporting to: FP&A Manager REQUIREMENTS Desirable Experience Experience working in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial finance environment, FMCG, retail, wholesale or food manufacturing background preferable, not essential, Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX2012R3 and Exceedra, or similar ERP systems. Qualifications / Skills Strong academic background, ideally degree-level educated and recently qualified, OR working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (i.e. CIMA/ACCA), Strong analytical / advanced MS Excel skills are essential, Experience of dealing with stakeholders inside & outside of finance, Effective communication skills across the team and externally where appropriate. Person Specification Trustworthy and reliable, An attention to detail and providing insight from ambiguous data sets is required, Self-motivated, resourceful and taking a proactive approach to problem solving, Ability to convey financial information accurately, briefly and simply, Willingness to learn and continually develop into a fully rounded finance professional. Salary:
