With a series of advanced softwares under their portfolio, they are becoming a recognised brand in the IT industry. This growth has led to them recruiting for a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join their team based in the City of London. Role Rapid growth sees this exciting business recruiting for a new position within their team. The Assistant Management Accountant shall take on a number of key duties including: - Assist in preparation, monitoring and analysis of monthly operational dashboards - Preparation of filings with HMRC including VAT returns - Provide regular analysis of financial data - Preparation of monthly management accounts and yearly statutory accounts - Liaise with other teams with operational processes and projects as well as providing information to key stakeholders As well as aforementioned aspects of the role, the Assistant Management Accountant shall take on ad hoc duties as directed by the Finance Manager. Profile The successful profile for the position should have the following attributes: - 2 years experience in assisting with or preparation of management accounts - Actively studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA) - Bachelors degree within a numerical/accounting degree (2.1 minimum with strong A levels) - Excellent communication skills - Good knowledge of Excel Salary & Benefits £30,000 to £40,000 plus study support The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
