Assistant Management Accountant | Bury (Commutable from Bolton, Rochdale, Blackburn) Excellent newly created role for a Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established business with over 50 years heritage. They have an excellent reputation in their markets and are behind many household names. Reporting to an impressive Financial Controller and joining a small but well established team at their UK Head Office in the north Manchester region. Duties will include; Month end Accounts close with Bank reconciliations and Stock reconciliation Assisting with the preparation of annual and rolling Budgets/forecasts Hands on processing supplier payments Reviewing expenses/credit cards Producing management accounts and monthly balance sheets Doing balance sheet reconciliations Processing inter-company recharges Property company accounts Liaise with our external auditors and Producing year end stat accounts alongside the Financial Controller Tax packs and VAT Returns The ideal candidate will have had exposure to month end management accounts and have started their professional studies CIMA/ACCA. It is advantageous but not essential that you are degree educated. Strong communication skills and a desire to become a professionally qualified accountant.
