The Opportunity: The Planning Business Analyst is responsible for providing level 1 finance system support which will be responsible in all execution activities around system administration, master data maintenance, global incident/defect triage management for Oracle Hyperion applications used by QBE's Financial Planning & Analysis team in GHO and all Divisions. It includes liaison with Global Planning Business Support Analyst (Sydney), QBE IT and 3rd party application support. Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: Lead the business support for European Operations Hyperion Planning Application. Liaising closely with the Business and co-ordinating with central Accenture support team Liaise with key business stakeholders and Accenture to effectively resolve and support the European Operations Hyperion Planning application. This includes but is not limited to the identification and documentation of business, functional, reporting, data and other requirements Provide quality assurance of the Hyperion Planning applications for European Operations to ensure that the solution meets business requirements Prepare User Acceptance test scenarios and test scripts, and support the User Acceptance testing process where required Comply with the change governance process to ensure any changes are appropriately registered, prioritized and approved Update documentation for the European Operations Hyperion Planning application on a periodic basis Manage and communicate effectively with support team, business and other stakeholders Identify and manage emerging risks, issues and changes in line with the governance framework Ideally the candidate will experience of Hyperion Planning and SmartView Ideally the candidate has a finance background and has a good understanding of accounting concepts You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience: Awareness of industry trends and best practice with regards to Oracle Hyperion Planning Ideally have exposure and experience with Hyperion tools such as HFM, Essbase, FDMEE, DRM) Detailed knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis processes, systems, data and master data Knowledge of Finance technologies and implementation leading practices Ability to engage and influence both business, 3rd party and IT stakeholders Proven experience of working with both Finance and IT teams to effect change and manage issues and incidents through to resolution Group Financial Planning & Analysis process in a systems support role (as part of a line / project role) Proven experience delivering Finance Systems changes via Oracle, Hyperion, Blackline, GCS or equivalent QBE, we view our people as our most precious asset.
