The business can boast a place embedded in British heritage and plays a key role in supporting a long established industry in the UK. This role is newly created and fills a key skill gap in the business between the Group FC and the transactional team. If the successful candidate has what it takes, they can expect to enjoy a strong upwards trajectory in their career over the next few years. The role will primarily focus on taking on financial reporting, statutory accounts, the month end responsibilities, fixed assets, journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments and variance analysis and investigation. The role will be challenging and investigative and be an essential support to the Group FC. The ideal fit for the business is a qualified accountant with the intention to progress quickly. Statutory accounts experience is of primary importance whilst management accounts experience would be a definite bonus but not absolutely required alongside a comprehensive understanding of IRIS accounts package. A self starter attitude and desire to take on an expansive role in a smaller business will be the mind set the business is looking for.
