THE COMPANY: This international company are a leading health care services provider, as industry leaders they have a great reputation within their market. Due to a strong period of growth they are looking to add an Accounts Payable Assistant to their long standing, existing team. THE JOB: Working within the finance team, the main focus of the Accounts Payable Assistant is to perform accounting and clerical tasks to support the processing of high volume financial transactions to tight deadlines. The Accounts Payable Assistant will need to work accurately and effectively dealing with both internal and external communication and support. The Main responsibilities of this role will include: Scanning and processing invoices onto SAP The processing of payment runs for suppliers Regular analysis of invoices to ensure accuracy of costing and forecasting Liaison with the management accounts team and operational sites to determine and verify accurate costs and coding information Dealing with internal and external queries Carrying out regular supplier reconciliations Advising the system users on 'best Practice' and resolving difficulties THE PERSON: Previous experience of working in a finance environment - preferably in a busy, high volume accounts payable role AAT or an accounting qualification would be desirable but not essential An ability to quickly learn new systems and be able to advise others on its use An excellent range of communication and customer service skills with both internal and external customers A high level of IT skills including experience of computerised accounting processes, Outlook and Excel The ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service particularly during busy periods A range of excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team working orientation THE BENEFITS: Salary, pension and benefits Free car parking Training and support Brewster Partners Recruitment Group focuses on the recruitment of talent in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
