What we're looking for: We are looking for someone with previous Finance Risk experience to join us on a fixed-term basis at our Bromley office. This role will also have occasional travel to our Finance teams based out in our Leeds office. Who you'll be working with: Working in a small team who will play an active part in providing inputs and challenges into Finance wide risk management processes. What you will be doing: You will be managing the ongoing operation of the Financial Reporting Control Framework (FRCF) and the completion of the yearly control testing responsibilities. There will also be a need to prepare reports for relevant committees or Senior Management providing assessments on the impact of transformational programmes in relation to financial reporting and operational risk. Conduct key control testing to ensure they are adequate and effective and testing is in line with minimum standard requirements. Manage the preparation and tracking of an annual testing plan (including non-Finance FRCF controls), and the reporting and successful completion of the key control testing across the Finance function in line with stipulated deadlines. We would like you to have had previous experience in a similar role with the following skills/knowledge: Professional accounting qualification (essential) Audit/Control/Risk and SOX experience (essential) Certificate in Risk Management with the Institute of Risk Management desirable Previous work experience in the financial services sector Strong partner management skills The ideal candidate might of come from a Financial Reporting Controls background or SOX analyst.
