Looking for a role as a Finance Analyst? We have an exciting new opportunity available as a Finance Analyst. Within this new team you will help to drive robust and challenging performance management, shape finance processes and deliver pro-active analysis of key issues, variances and trends. Your role in the team - You'll work in collaboration with the Finance Director to deliver the planning, budgeting and forecasting process to ensure business compliance. By providing regular, quantitative analysis and insight you'll also help drive the performance agenda. Key to the role will be the provision of qualitative, initiative-based analysis to create insight for performance management and support key decision making, whilst reviewing and validating financial performance metrics and MI to ensure accuracy and completeness, on behalf of Finance Director. Additionally, you'll work collaboratively across Finance and the wider business to ensure that reporting and analysis produced delivers business value. Alongside this, you'll drive continuous process improvements and promote best practice. Skills needed - You'll have a good understanding of financial systems allied with strong analytical and numerical skills, being able to analyse complex financial data and present it to non-financial professionals in a clear and concise way. You'll be aided in this by strong Excel skills and a background in finance in addition you'll be a qualified accountant. Organised, with the ability to effectively prioritise, you'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to deliver key performance reports within tight timescales. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. With a strong team focus, you will also be able to contribute effectively in a collaborative working environment.
