About the role PwC is investing in further expansion of its Compliance Testing function. You will be working in a growing team within PwC's Operate business providing a range of services to a variety of clients across the UK and potentially abroad. Our service offerings include controls testing support (for example as part of an internal audit engagement, or SOx testing programme, or other regulatory compliance testing regime) as well as regulatory compliance testing. Who are we looking for We are looking for motivated individuals from all backgrounds. You will have experience in risk management, compliance, audit or finance function/s and ideally have experience of supervising others. You should be a determined individual with a drive to learn, develop, and succeed as a team. Key Responsibilities Our teams work on a variety of client engagements that all vary depending on industry sector and nature of work. Key responsibilities include a mix of the following Be responsible for a team of people; chair daily team meetings and provide hands on support and troubleshooting; Provide teams with advice and guidance on technical queries; Perform testing on higher risk or complex areas; Chair client testing meetings, lead discussion and challenge on how process and controls are working; Ensure that teams are delivering high quality work, perform sample checks and provide 1 1 feedback; Provide updates to key stakeholders, escalate challenges and issues and seek support and consultation when needed; Share key learning and new ways of working across your peer group, promote a positive and supportive culture among teams; Build new relationships with other PwC teams that we work with; and Have an opportunity to take part in wider team initiatives, events and activities. Essential criteria Candidates should meet the following criteria Graduates (2.2 classification or above) in any subject or equivalent in relevant industry experience; Previous experience within either risk management, compliance, audit or finance function/s with a sound understanding of business processes, risks and controls; Organisation can supervise people and teams, able to allocate work loads for optimum performance; Coaching promotes our people, can provide constructive coaching and encourage our people to be their best; Excellent written and oral communication able to lead client calls and build rapport quickly with clients and teams; Problem shooting remain calm under pressure, knowing when to escalate or ask for support; Strong analytical mindset be able to follow and understand complex processes and challenge how things work; Strong attention to detail produces high quality work, does not compromise on quality standards; Motivated to do your best and bring teams with you. Where will you be based The role will be based in Belfast; however as a result of the wide variety of clients and projects, you may have the opportunity to work in other locations within the UK and beyond or need to attend training events outside of Northern Ireland. Location preference will be discussed as part of the recruitment process and all candidates will be considered.
