This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesStrategyResponsible for supporting the development and implementation of the strategy for FCC CIB Europe.Responsible supporting the implementation of the Global Correspondent Banking Programme in Europe.BusinessResponsible for identifying and addressing financial crime risk within the CIB portfolio based on conducting detailed transaction and data reviews, as well as internal risk indicators and publicly available information.Responsible for communicating risk issues to relevant stakeholders and ensuring appropriate risk mitigating actions are taken.Responsible for supporting FCC at client meetings, as necessary.Consult with front line Business Advisory teams and Relationship Managers to ensure effective internal and client engagements.Consult and contribute towards the training of clients regarding industry best practices for combating financial crime, as well as the Group's policies and values.ProcessesConsult on controls enhancements, simplifications and implementations where appropriate.Consult on updates to the FCC Correspondent Banking Programme.People and Talent Responsible for supporting training programmes to meet the needs of the business and FCC, including correspondent banking academies.Risk ManagementAccountable for managing financial crime risk arising from SCB's European correspondent banking portfolio, including respondent banks located within Europe, and/or clearing via European booking centres (London and Germany).These reviews will include analysing large datasets in Excel using data analysis and data visualisation techniques, as well as carrying out research in the public domain and internal information sources (such as CDD, risk events data etc.).Accountable for preparing detailed and well-presented reports on the results of the reviews.Accountable for conducting thorough reviews of clients to identify and manage financial crime risk. Consult with colleagues from regional FCC Correspondent Banking teams to ensure a consistent approach to holistic risk management.Accountable for providing advice to other FCC teams, front line business and other stakeholders throughout the bank in respect to managing correspondent banking risk in Europe.Accountable for supporting timely and accurate MI reporting of risks identified, including project work and client issues.Accountable for supporting projects within the FCC Correspondent Banking book of work as assigned by the Global Head of FCC Correspondent Banking.Regulatory & Business ConductDisplay exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Experience in transaction analysis in Excel (knowledge of Tableau preferred, but not a requirement).Ability to code in Excel (VBA) and create SQL queries preferred, but not a requirement.Experience in data visualisation techniques.Experience in report writing.Ability to support on-site customer due diligence visitsSharp business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity.Ability to collaborate and work dynamically across country, region, business and group stakeholders.Understanding of best practice financial crime risk management techniques and frameworks.
