Attractive Date: 15th October 2019 Our client, a leading UK financial services firm is looking for an Auditor to join their investigation team and help to monitor activity on all company trading venues to ensure that the markets remain fair, transparent and orderly. Duties Include: Establish, implement and maintain a risk-based audit plan to examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the bank's Front Office systems, internal control mechanisms and policies and procedures. Make recommendations based on the results of work done and verify compliance with those recommendations. Provide reports to both the Audit Committee and executive management on the policies, programmes and activities of the internal audit function. Maintain Internal Audit's independence of the other functions and activities of the bank. Lead on specific control initiatives and firm wide process changes or for conducting special investigations. Oversee and implement effective checking scheme to monitor activities and ensure compliance with industry standards demonstrating a consistent commitment to ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency of audit work. To identify the risks involved in each of the areas in which the Bank undertakes business and to ensure that such risks are properly assessed and correctly monitored with any changes reported expeditiously to the Audit and Compliance Committee and senior management. The preferred candidate will ideally have UK banking background. Audit, Investigations, Monitoring experience is essential. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
