Robert Walters are recruiting for a growing commercial division within a widely recognised retailer. Responsible for the provision of a comprehensive financial, analytical and management support function you will work closely with the wider ops and logistics team to deliver periodic reporting and forecasting. This role is an opportunity for a Qualified Finance Manager to undertake a temp to perm appointment. You will be a commercially minded accountant with a sound understanding of profit and loss, financial performance and providing detailed insight to drive understanding and improved performance. Working in a fast-moving, project orientated environment, your duties will be varied and include, but not limited to:- Production of detailed monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, forecasts, cashflow forecast and detailed variance analysis of actual period and YTD results to budget Budgeting and forecasting Project accounting and cost / profit forecasting & analysis Data, MI and Metrics - supporting cross functional teams in defining, understanding, implementing and reporting all data, MI and metrics Assist in the preparation of draft statutory accounts Finance Transformation and Change Management project work Ad hoc reporting and analysis Supervision and development of 1 finance analyst Audit Support Financial Modelling Business cases and benefit tracking and ad hoc operational and financial analysis and recommendations. Personality wise you will be required to build relationships with all relevant stakeholders You will be a Qualified accountant (ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA) 5 years or more management/commercial accounting experience
