Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant who is looking to further their career in a supportive and team orientated company? Would you like to work with a Finance Manager who listens to ideas and encourages dialogue in a collaborative atmosphere? Watson Evans Associates are working with a manufacturing business based near Truro, who are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of an Assistant Management Accountant. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support them in such areas as management accounts, financial analysis, forecasting and budgets. You will bring fresh ideas for improving efficiencies and cost reductions to processes and become a key contributor to the success of the team and business as a whole. You will also be responsible for sales/purchase ledger, bank recs, payroll and when necessary, credit control. You may be AAT qualified, or part way there, or consider yourself QBE and a working knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel (for example to include graphs and pivot tables) would be advantageous, as would previous experience working in a setting using multiple currencies. The role is to be offered on a full time, permanent basis along with a starting salary between £20,000 - £25,000 along with a strong benefits package that may include study support for the right person.
