Due to business growth our client is looking to appoint a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant seeking a career move from practice into industry. The Financial Accountant with support the group as it continues its expansion and the role will report to the Group Financial Controller. You will be responsible for the Statutory and Management Accounts preparation, working closing with other members of the finance team. This is an exciting opportunity and will offer an excellent first move from practice, providing oversight of the business as a whole and exposure to a group environment. Responsibilities with include; Working closely with the acquisitions team to determine the appropriate accounting treatment for new acquisitions within the group entity Responsibility for the consolidation of monthly management accounts for the Board Assist the Finance team with preparation of audit information for the Statutory accounts Supporting the wider finance team with advice on technical accounting issues Liaise with auditors and advisers as necessary We are looking for an ambitious individual, who has a genuine passion for developing their career, the individual will need to be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
