We can handle every aspect of a client's foreign payment needs, from risk consultation to transaction execution. We are currently hiring for an Account Receivable Clerk based in our office in London. Role: The position of Account Receivable is responsible to ensure incoming client funds are applied to all relevant currency accounts against trade tickets. This position is pivotal in allowing efficient, real time processing of client orders. In executing their duties, the Accounts Receivable Clerk should act as a Brand Ambassador for AFEX, to act in a way that promotes AFEX's Vision: A trusted business partner. Responsibilities:
Pulling various bank statements and post incoming credits. Processing direct debit, ACH and deposit domestic & foreign cheques. Pulling Returned Items Report. Answering various enquiries from the sales group. Working with Customer Support on AE inquiries. Accountable to staying current on all learning and development offered via AFEX Academy. Ad hoc administration duties. Qualifications and Experience: Basic accounting knowledge. Minimum 1 year experience of accounts receivable processing. Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
