Widely recognised and reputable brand experiencing strong growth now has a need to make a permanent addition to the management team with the recruitment of a Transaction Finance Manager. Overseeing a small finance team you will be responsible for managing all finance transactions passing through the business covering purchase and sales ledger, Treasury and regular reporting administration. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be a have a commercial and enthusiastic edge to your approach, able to build many varied relationships across the wider business and have a real connection with the front line staff. Alongside team management and delegation, key elements of the role will include: To manage all site suppliers via purchase orders, purchase invoices, queries, reconciliations, payments Supporting third-party supplier services accounts for expenses, maintenance support, hotel bookings, and train travel To manage low volume / value debtors book, invoices issued and credit controlled To manage sales receipts postings for site transactions (cash and cards) Bank reconciliations To manage weekly cashflow forecasting To produce and issue regular control reports, with commentary and actions needed and ensure reports issued are relevant, accurate and value adding You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with an ability to lead and motivate your team and get the best from them, supporting and giving guidance where necessary. A strong systems understanding is essential, preferably of an ERP system and capable of assimilating large workbooks via Excel. You will also be good at implementing procedures and ensuring they are followed through and maintained whilst promoting the service level the finance team can provide to support the various sites.
