Payroll and HR Manager
Seeking a Payroll and HR Manager - St Neots Offering the opportunity to take on an exciting role that oversees the HR and Payroll function of an educational facility. This is a temporary position for the next 1-2 months and would be suitable for someone who holds previous managerial experience whilst covering Generalist HR duties. Your main duties would be to oversee and support the HR team whilst ensuring that payroll is processed in a timely manner. Start: 14 th October 2019

St Neots, Cambridgeshire Hourly rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour holiday pay Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 16:30pm Duration: 1-2 months temporary Candidates need to have excellent management skills, work well under pressure and be a real team player. In this role you will maintain a calm and organised HR office and support the team. Main Duties: Managing the in-house payroll system Ensure accurate posting of timesheets is sent over for processing Generally maintaining the accuracy of data on the payroll system Approving hours and dealing with queries Liaising with external HR providers Building relationships with the HR team Advising Management on HR related issues Meeting regularly with team leaders/ mangers Drive the performance management process effectively Ensure the recruitment process runs efficiently and effectively Specifically ensure that recruitment advertising is within the set budgets Ensuring that all the staff is compliant with regulations and that this is kept up to date Providing all round support for the HR team and maintain the office culture Skills and Experience: 2 years in a HR Generalist role Management experience is required Experience within Payroll and legislation surrounding this Strong employment law knowledge and case management experience Excellent PC skills; High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
