We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, changeable environment. The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified. Experience in using SAP is preferable but not essential and have good technical experience of FRS 102 and IFRS and solid experience of internal controls testing and design. Key responsibilities Lead the delivery of all internal financial reporting, including monthly Group reporting and annual planning cycle. Lead the delivery of all external financial reporting including year-end statutory accounts and audit. Opportunity to implement new processes and efficiencies within the financial reporting area, including a new internal controls testing process. Manage the fixed asset reporting requirements for the Team including working with key internal stakeholders on capital projects. Maximise the use of technology to increase efficiencies within the financial reporting area. Act as number 2 for the Financial Controller when required. Requirements Qualified accountant, ACA/CIMA/ACCA Operates with a strong commercial mind-set, and understanding of business. Ability to explain financial matters to non-financial people. Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly understand and interpret complex information. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to propose and deliver practical solutions to resolve complex problems that arise.
