Construction - Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant job Dartford £35k plus potential study. From a construction background

Your new company
You will be working for an established and growing construction company based in the Dartford area. The Assistant Management Accountant job will support the Head of Finance and requires someone with recent construction industry background. You will work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the preparation of Management Accounts, Bank Reconciliations, Journal entry and Fixed Assets. You will be involved in the CIS returns, Project Reports, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and produce Project Reports. You will also help out the rest of the finance team with purchase ledger and credit control when required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant position including producing construction reports. You will have worked within a construction company for a reasonable amount of time and experince within CIS returns. You will need working experience of Sage accounting software. Ideally you will be an AAT, ACCA or CIMA studier. You will have advanced Excel skills.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £30k - £35k DOE with the possibility of study support and 20 days holiday.
