Senior Management Accountant for a leading retail brand based in central London

Your new company
I am recruiting a recently qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA to join a fast growing and exciting finance team as a Senior Management Accountant. This role will be working for a big retail brand which has doubled in size over the last 3 years as they expand into the ecommerce sector. Because of the growth of the company they are looking for a motivated and forwarding thinking Accountant who can support them during this exciting time.

Your new role
As a new Senior Management Accountant, you are responsible for:

• Produce sections of Board pack including commentary on the financial performance of the business
• Management of intercompany postings and balances
• Support year-end audit process
• Conduct cost centre P&L reviews with budget holders
• Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting certain income streams and overhead categories
• Calculate and post provisions and accruals
• Work with Head of FP&A in analysis of client performance and client profitability
• Measure and reporting on Key Performance Indicators
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc reporting / projects

What you will need to succeed

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA)
• 0-3 years pqe
• Strong Excel skills (pivot table / v-look up)
• Naturally curious and analytical
• Integrity will be important to you - open, honest and direct
• Maintain a 'can do' approach to all tasks
• The ability to remain calm under pressure whilst working to and meeting required deadlines
