Why this role matters You will be responsible for managing and leading sales activity for around three customers within the Strategic Major Corporate market unit. These are typically FTSE 100 companies and involve selling to Senior Executive teams at CIO/C-level with sophisticated procurement processes. Typical annual spend with BT between 1-5 m each. You play a key part in Delivering the MC strategy and developing good commercial profitable opportunities which will influence the business unit results. Achieving key financial and customer experience targets aligned to your customers. Typically these will include Earned Revenue, New Business SOVGM, Gross Margin and Deep Insight. Leading the BT resources associated with the customer to provide effective and productive relationships. This will require excellent stakeholder management. Leading and building the relationship with your client, on behalf of BT, ensuring that there is clarity and alignment of strategy and objectives and effective stakeholder management. This will include developing productive ADP and increasing client engagement to achieve full participation of stakeholders in Deep Insights programme. What you'll be doing With responsibility for delivering key financial and client experience targets, and leadership of our sales activity across your specific customer base it is essential that you can; Secure existing business profitably through innovation and consolidation whilst growing profitable new revenue streams aligned with client objectives. Manage and lead sales activity for your customer base. This includes creating and executing on meaningful ADP clear (SMART) objectives and goals. Create, execute and deliver on an in-year plan for your customer base and accurately reflect activity and contribution through the systems and processes. (e.g. SF/Altify.) Build and maintain relationships at all levels across your customer base and internal stakeholder team that are effective and productive. Work with your leadership team to leverage activity and plans that will support delivery of customer targets, maximising use of Exec resources, Events and overall engagement. Deliver against Earned Revenue, Gross Margin, New Business and Customer Satisfaction targets. We'll also need to see these on your CV Ability to form an in depth understanding of the customers industry and business challenges and be able to use these to retain business, increase pipeline and maximise sales. Proven effective stakeholder management skills, with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong sales and business acumen, with demonstrable sales professionalism, discipline and adherence to process/compliance. Proactive approach to learning seeking opportunities and experience to stretch and develop whilst demonstrating personal accountability for own development, progressions and skill acquisition.
